U.S. Glass 314 Line
The 314 Line is characterized by having four sets of paired OPTIC rays in the bowls of the pieces. Berry Wiggins has an old trade journal description where the top is said to be "straight." This flat (straight) rim is also typical of these pieces. However, some bowls or comports that are extremely flared often have irregular rims due to the difference in thickness of the rayed areas.
There are some pretty unique colors used in this line. Pieces are known in an olive-green and a light cobalt blue. More regular colors are blue, topaz and crystal and a deep rich purple is obtainable.
