U.S. Glass Opaque Pieces

U.S. Glass made an interesting array of opaque colors. Of these, the opaque green and yellow are reqularly encountered. Berry Wiggins has stated that he believes that the name "Carrara" may be associated with these colors as well as a less common opaque pink. These green, yellow and pink pieces seem to have a translucent character.

Other opaques include colors that appear to be true slags - a green slag, a bluish-grey slag (commonly called Pearl Blue), a carmel slag (commonly called Pearl Gray) and a true black.

Presented on this page are many examples of these opaque pieces, but the entire range of pieces is yet to be discovered!
